For the Bread:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 cup milk
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil

- ⅓ cup white sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Prepare Your Workspace: Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a 9x5 inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Mix the Cinnamon Sugar: In a small bowl, combine ⅓ cup sugar with ground cinnamon until well blended.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and one cup of sugar.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, thoroughly combine the beaten egg, milk, and vegetable oil.
- Create the Batter: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and whisk until smooth and well combined.
- Layer and Swirl: Pour half the batter into your prepared pan, sprinkle with half the cinnamon sugar mixture, then repeat with remaining batter and cinnamon sugar. Use a knife to create beautiful swirls throughout.
- Bake to Perfection: Place in the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes, or until a bamboo skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool and Serve: Allow the bread to cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
